Model in &HER bra in support of UN SDGs

During Earth Month, April 2023, &HER became a proud member of the Conscious Fashion + Lifestyle Network supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.

Here are the 17 Goals in brief.

UN SDGs

Out of the 17 goals set forth, &HER is committed to Goal 9 "Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure" and Goal 12 "Responsible Consumption and Production.

Our north star is to build a new shopping experience and a novel process to produce cute, supportive, size-inclusive bralettes, yoga bras, and bra tops. In this commitment to the UN SDGs, we want to hold ourselves accountable to be a purpose-driven company and continue to innovate in products, processes, and technology to benefit our customers and reduce the negative impact on mother earth.

By utilizing technology to allow customized clothing at scale, we can reduce overproduction, provide better fit, and make steps toward product lifecycle circularity to reduce waste going to the landfill.

It is an ambitious goal for a small company, but thanks to our community, we are making progress everyday.
